The Tale
Our journey to work with entrepreneurs was started way back in 2011. The entrepreneurship vibe in Bangladesh was passing its early days at that time. Many young bloods were coming into entrepreneurship with a lot of dreams, hope, and aspiration following that. We, as active entrepreneurs, were involved with various government and non-government initiatives and social activities with a view to share our knowledge and experience with fellow entrepreneurs.
Suddenly, we discovered that a lot of knocks were coming from the startup owners and “want to be” entrepreneurs regarding their business issues and challenges to get honest suggestions and guidelines. Out of our sharing attitude, interest, and intention to work for entrepreneurial development, we welcomed them warmly and tried our best to guide them.
It happened due to the lack of a reliable source of obtaining honest and impactive guidelines for the startups and SMEs even today the scenario has hardly changed.
This opportunity enormously helped us to realize the challenges an entrepreneur in Bangladesh face and we felt the sheer necessity to do something for them in a structured way.
Though we continued to provide some support in an informal way. But the demand for more organized support was ever-increasing day by day. This scenario put the seed of forming BDPRENEUR in our minds and drove us to make it happen. Finally, BDPRENEUR came into light inspired by the motto of Helping Business Succeed in late 2019.
